Lake Erie Fishing

Greg provided valuable help shaping metal for our home addition project, and as a token of gratitude, I invited him for an exciting fall Walleye fishing experience on Lake Erie. Today, the North winds in Cleveland (CLE) exceeded the forecast, reaching 20 mph with gusts up to 25. Despite the challenging conditions, with waves surpassing 5 feet, the Walleye were voraciously biting. Each catch was filled with Shad, and we achieved success by employing shallow divers with leads spanning from 25 to 60 feet. Lake Erie Class 

Today was a helping day at OSU's Lake Erie Sportfishing Class at Stone Laboratory.  Ashley and David were my students Eric Hirzel Sr. had another pair of anglers.<div><br></div><div>Lake Erie provided an abundance of Walleye for us today.  Being a class we ran multiple programs to shown the variety of methods that can be used to bring Walleye to the boat.</div><div><br></div><div>We started off with Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. TruTrip 40s and 50s running spoons.
