While Walleye are the stars of the show, you can also target Yellow Perch and Smallmouth Bass, making your trip even more diverse and exciting. Late Friday evening reach out by Trenton and Kendra who were wrapping up a week at the Lake Erie Islands area.  We left West Harbor just before sunrise with a bright full moon in the Western sky.  Trenton had the hot hand to start us off casting a 3/4 worm harness with a gold blade on a 10 count.  It was about 6 to 1 on fish mostly around 14.5" to get a 16" to 19" keeper.  
As the sun climbed in the sky Kendra got hot and they both worked hard to capture their Lake Erie Walleye.
We battled with pesky white perch.  We found a really fast retrieve aided in keeping white perch at bay and the Walleye didn't mind.
Seems, I don't get may good pics on casting days.  Fish cleaner was at the docks when we arrived, so no fish pics today.
